"Bollocks" is a word of Anglo-Saxon origin, meaning "testicles". The word is used as a noun to mean "nonsense", an expletive following a minor accident or misfortune, or an adjective to mean "poor quality" or "useless". "Bollocks to this!" or "That's a load of bollocks" generally indicate contempt. Conversely, the word also figures in idiomatic phrases such as "the dog's bollocks", which usually refer to something which is admired, approved of or well-respected.
i've always envied your ability to live each day as if it were the last...don't let fear kill that joie d'vivre. you are far too cranky an old bastard to kick the bucket and give everyone a fucking break anyway, but we can hope!
